Tool box8th grade technology students have come alive in the woodworking studio. They used drafting and design techniques that they were introduced to in 7th grade to plan and adapt a building project aimed to be useful and well built. The resulting projects show an array of creative ideas come to fruition while the craftsmanship of their hand cut joinery and machine-shaped edges illustrates the perseverance and grit of each student. Each time Mr. Hardt facilitates this project students drive innovative ideas and new processes are created, a tangible example of student choice. We look forward to seeing what they will think up and create next!
