Kennett Middle School Library
The Kennett Middle School Library is open each school day from 7:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Students are welcome to use the library before school starts, during the day with a pass from a classroom teacher, and after school until 2:45. The library provides a quiet workspace for students, and there are 16 computers that are available for school-related activities.
The library has over 7,700 books available for check out. Each student may check out three books at a time for a two-week period. Books may be renewed for additional two-week periods. Payment for lost or damaged books must be made before students will be allowed to check out more books.
In the spring of 2014 a new web-based library card catalog was purchased for the schools in the Conway School District. It allows students to see what materials are available from all five schools.
The new catalog has two parts, Destiny and Destiny Quest. Destiny Quest is a more visual component and will open when you click on the link for it. It shows new books in the KMS library and lets students save titles they wish to read, write book reviews, and recommend titles to others. Follow this link to access the catalog. Students should use their 7-digit ID number for both their username and and their password. Destiny Card Catalog
